The geese work the shoreline in the golden light of the sunrise on Cave Run Lake. This reminds me of a Robert Schumann quote; "The artists vocation is to send light into the human heart." Being there and experiencing each image sure sends light into my heart. Thank you Lord!

Randall Evans is an independent photographer living on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau in Rowan County, Kentucky. Retiring from 34 years of portrait and wedding photography, Randall continues exploring his deep passion for fine photography capturing intimate images of the world around us. Randall also enjoys capturing and sharing "The Splendor of God's Creation" through his photography. Randall continues sharing his experiences by teaching storytelling through photography and multimedia. Recent workshops include teacher preparation through Kentucky Dataseam workshops, WKU Mountain Workshops "Teacher Track", and Kentucky Governor's School For The Arts "Arts Shops".
