A heavy spring snowfall in Elliott County, Kentucky gave me the opportunity to create this panoramic image of the Laurel Gorge . It was still pouring snow when I took 5 frames to stitch this image together. The wet snow flocked the entire Laurel Gorge and I could actually hear the snow as it fell. The rock cliffs that outline the path of the Little Sandy River protrude from the winter landscape, guiding our eyes into a magnificent wilderness.. You can view this image in the Rocky Adkins Public Library in Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
