Artist's Description

Spring rains soaked the area with freshness. Stems greened up and buds started appearing. The Cliffs of the Laurel Gorge came to life with this water fall. The rushing water falling from the cliff above created a cool breeze with the amazing smell of “Springtime”. This wonderful water fall can be found on old State Rt 7 in the “Curves” along the Little Sandy River just east of Sandy Hook. Springtime is a great time to view water falls because of the lack of foliage and abundance of rainfall. These beautiful cascades usually dry up in the heat of the summer.

This vertical panoramic presentation was created by stitching together four separate images, photographed from top to bottom. The appeal of this experience is captured in this format. This is a great image for your wilderness family room or hung in your office, where you will be constantly reminded of the richness of our region.
