Artist's Description
Green beans strung on thread to dry. Preserved in natures way. Leather Britches or Shuck Beans were hung to dry in several windows of my grandmothers house. This is the old time way that I saw as a child, memories that we need to pass on and preserve. Proud mountain moments that we will always cherish. This image was taken at Wolfpen Woods in Boyd County, Kentucky.
