Take a deep breath and relax as you become drawn into this scene. Imagine the cold frosty breeze, sound of the river flowing by and the fresh outdoor smells of the new day. This was a morning to remember! We arrived at Baker's Hole campground just outside the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park before daylight. The coyote howls sounded to be just feet away as we hiked the dark path to the river. My fingers were numb from carrying the tripod in 30 degree weather. As the sun and clouds painted the morning sky, I scrambled to capture this grand experience before it got away. The early light spread, blending the deep blue with reds and pinks. With every second the scene changed. This image explains why this is called "Big Sky Country"!
