I love to visit Cades Cove early in the morning to relax in its peaceful beauty. The National Park Service unlocks the Loop Road around daylight. The fog was so thick on this morning I had to wait to get any photos. Then everything changed. I quickly setup in the parking lot to captured the essence of Cades Cove. The lifting fog revealed layers of this Smoky Mountain marvel.
Randall Evans is an independent photographer living on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau in Rowan County, Kentucky. Retiring from 34 years of portrait and wedding photography, Randall continues exploring his deep passion for fine photography capturing intimate images of the world around us.
