The mix of fog, water, and sunrise provided a quickly changing reality right in front of our eyes. This early morning shoot on Cave Run Lake quickly presented new materials to us as we recomposed and captured image after image. It was really quite amazing. This is the way it goes when hunting the elusive landscape. You can shoot for days and get nothing. Then all of a sudden it happens and you just can’t keep up. About Randall Evans
Randall Evans is an independent photographer living on the edge of the Cumberland Plateau in Rowan County, Kentucky. Retiring from 34 years of portrait and wedding photography, Randall continues exploring his deep passion for fine photography capturing intimate images of the world around us. Randall also enjoys capturing and sharing "The Splendor of God's Creation" through his photography. Randall continues sharing his experiences by teaching storytelling through photography and multimedia. Recent workshops include teacher preparation through Kentucky Dataseam workshops, WKU Mountain Workshops "Teacher Track", and Kentucky Governor's School For The Arts "Arts Shops".
